What we cover

If your roof can fail, we can fix it.

Most gutter failures start as a sag. Leaves and debris weigh a run down, it pulls away from the fascia, water starts going where it should not, and the fascia behind it rots. Roof Experts repairs residential gutters across Dallas-Fort Worth — including the board behind them — and installs new systems where the old one is genuinely finished.

Common failures

What actually goes wrong.

  • Sagging runs — debris weight pulling the gutter off the fascia. Re-hung and re-secured.
  • Seam and joint leaks — re-sealed or the section replaced, without touching the rest of the system.
  • Rotted fascia — the board behind the gutter, repaired before the new run goes up.
  • Downspouts discharging at the foundation — extended or re-routed so the water actually leaves.
  • Overflow on a clean gutter — usually pitch or capacity rather than blockage.

Do it with the roof if a roof is coming.

Fascia, drip edge and gutter all meet along the same line. Doing them in one visit avoids paying twice for access and gets the transition detailed correctly the first time.

If a replacement is on your horizon this year, it is worth raising the gutters at the same inspection rather than treating them as a separate project later.

Cost

Small money against what it protects.

Gutter detachment repair — re-securing pulled-away runs and fixing damaged fascia — typically runs $200–$1,500. The width of that range is entirely about what the fascia looks like once the gutter comes off, which is why we quote after looking rather than over the phone.

Set against foundation movement, eroded soil and stained walls, it is the least expensive protective work on a house. See the gutter hub for the five warning signs worth acting on.

Residential Gutters Dallas TX FAQ

Common questions about this service.

Don't see your question? Call us at (469) 936-7663 — we're happy to talk it through.

How do I know whether mine need repair or replacement? +

Sagging, isolated leaks and detached sections are almost always repairable, including the fascia behind them. Replacement is for systems that are failing along their whole length or are sized wrong for the roof. We will tell you which, and repair is what we quote when repair is honest.

What does gutter repair cost? +

Gutter detachment repair — re-securing pulled-away runs and fixing damaged fascia — typically runs $200–$1,500. The range is that wide because what matters is what the fascia looks like once the gutter comes off.

My downspout empties right next to the house. Is that a problem? +

Yes. Discharging at the foundation defeats the purpose of having gutters at all — the water still ends up where you did not want it. Extending or re-routing the discharge is usually a small job with a disproportionate benefit.

Why do my gutters overflow even though they are clear? +

Usually pitch or capacity. A run that is not pitched to the downspout will hold water and overflow at the low point, and a gutter sized for a smaller roof will overflow in heavy rain no matter how clean it is.

Do you do gutters as part of a roof job? +

Yes, and it is the sensible time. Fascia, drip edge and gutter all meet at the same line, so doing them together avoids paying twice for access and gets the details right the first time.
