The main event in Frisco. Mat fracture from hail and creasing from wind are both invisible from the ground and both shorten a roof's life by years before they leak. On a city this new, storm damage is nearly always the reason a roof needs attention.
Finding where water actually enters rather than patching under the stain. On production housing the low-slope tie-ins and the valleys are the usual culprits, not the middle of the field.
The cracked rubber collar on a plumbing vent boot is the most common leak source we find on a Frisco house, because the collar fails years before the shingles around it do. Replaced, not caulked.
Frisco requires double underlayment at 4:12 or less. Where a previous cheap re-roof put a single layer on a porch or patio tie-in, that section is both non-compliant and the most likely place your leak is coming from.
Same-day tarping on an active leak. Frisco is a regular run for our crews up 121 or the Tollway from Garland.
With photographs, and including the version where we tell you the roof is fine and to call back in a few years. On Frisco's young housing stock that is frequently the honest answer.
Not from the driveway. Hail fractures the fibreglass mat beneath the surface granules — the shingle looks intact and keeps working for a year or two. Finding it early is the difference between a claim and an out-of-pocket replacement three years from now.
Porch roofs, patio covers and shallow tie-ins are where Frisco production housing leaks, and where the city's double-underlayment requirement at 4:12 or less is most often ignored by a previous cheap re-roof.
A single failure point is a repair. A field where the mat is fractured across a large area is not, because patching one spot does nothing for the rest. We will say which you have, including when the answer is that nothing is wrong.
Before-and-after photographs, debris out through the Waste Connections franchise — third-party roll-offs are not permitted here — and a magnet run over the drive and lawn.
The rubber collar hardens and splits years before the shingles around it wear out, making it the single most frequent leak source on a Frisco house of any age.
Where a porch or patio section below 4:12 was given a single layer of underlayment instead of the double the city requires. It is both non-compliant and the most likely source of a production-housing leak.
Fractured mats from hail and creased, lifted shingles from wind. Both need somebody on the roof, and in Frisco both are the usual reason a roof needs attention at all.
Written, on the repair itself. Small jobs are where warranties usually evaporate, which is why ours is written down on them.
Same-day tarping on an active leak for Frisco addresses, from our Garland yard.
Including the version where the roof is sound and we say so. On Frisco's young stock that is the most common honest outcome, and it costs us the sale every time.
Don't see your question? Call us at (469) 936-7663 — we're happy to talk it through.
It is worth a look, and the honest answer is sometimes no. Frisco's production housing means whole streets carry the same builder's shingle installed within months of each other — so if a storm damaged your neighbours' roofs, yours took the same stones at the same angle on the same product. Sometimes your slope orientation genuinely spared you. We will tell you that rather than manufacture a claim.
You generally cannot see it from the ground. Hail fractures the fibreglass mat beneath the surface granules — the shingle looks intact, sheds water for another year or two, then fails early in a pattern nobody can tie back to a storm date any more. Collin County recorded 17 days with two-inch-plus hail between 2015 and 2025 and Denton County 84 hail days overall. If your roof has not been looked at since a known event, an inspection settles it.
Usually at the low-slope tie-ins — porch roofs, patio covers and the shallow junctions between roof planes — and at pipe boots. Frisco requires double underlayment at 4:12 or less, and a previous cheap re-roof that put a single layer on those sections has left you with both a non-compliant detail and the most likely source of your leak.
It depends on whether the damage is a point or a field. A single failure — a cracked boot, a piece of flashing, a few shingles — is a repair. A field where the mat has been fractured across a large area is not, because patching one spot does nothing for the rest. Telling the difference requires being on the roof, and telling you honestly is the part that costs us money when the answer is 'repair'.
Not their own, at any job size. Frisco has an exclusive Waste Connections franchise and a third-party roll-off container is not permitted within city limits. Repair debris goes out through the franchise or in our own trucks the same day — never left on your driveway.
Check the parcel. Frisco Lakes, Phillips Creek Ranch, Grayhawk and Newman Village code to Denton County; The Grove, Richwoods, Lexington, Plantation Resort, Preston Vineyards and Starwood code to Collin. Denton logged 84 hail days from 2015 to 2025 and Collin 65 — different sets of dates, which matters if the repair turns into a claim.
Generally not. A manufacturer's material warranty covers manufacturing defects, not hail or wind — that is what your homeowner's policy is for. And manufacturer warranties commonly hinge on the roof having been installed to their published specification, including ventilation, which is a separate conversation worth having before you rely on one.
No — including the version where we look, find nothing wrong, and tell you to call us in a few years. On a city as young as Frisco that is a frequent and honest outcome. A company that has never once given a homeowner that answer is not inspecting roofs, it is prospecting them.
Free inspection, honest scope, real warranty. Most service work scheduled within 24–48 hours.
