Nevada is a small city — 431 total housing units — with a very large mailing-address footprint. A substantial number of properties addressed "Nevada, TX 75173" sit outside the city limits, in the extraterritorial jurisdiction. That distinction is the first thing worth settling on any roofing job here, because the city's $260 roofing permit applies inside the city limits only.
