Roof Experts Won the Golden Hammer Award!
We are thrilled to announce that Roof Experts won the Golden Hammer award presented by the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association. You may remember that we completed a roofing project for our local vet, Phillip Harrison. Harrison served his country in two branches of the military and this homegrown hero was in need of a brand new roof. We provided Phillip with a new roof (and a new deck!) completely free of charge.
What is the Golden Hammer Award?
Each year, the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association honors NTRCA contractors and associates for outstanding contributions to their community. While there are a lot of ways to contribute, this project was incredibly meaningful to us. We were glad to be placed in this pool of competitors who are all just trying to do good for their homes. We may all be fighting for contracts but it is a pleasure to serve the community with them!
At Roof Experts, we are always looking for ways to give back to our community. We jumped at the chance to partner with the Veterans Center of North Texas and with GAF to host a giveaway. Phillip was in total disbelief when he first found out. But we are so thankful to have had the chance to meet him and work with him. Just completing the project was a huge honor- to receive the Golden Hammer was the icing on the cake! Check out the video presentation below.
