Our Favorite Fourth of July Dallas Activities!

Roof Experts loves a reason to celebrate. Plus, the American Flag goes great with our company logo. So here are our favorite Fourth of July Dallas happenings! If you’re looking for family fun or an evening out, check out some of our favorite things to do on your day off.

Yankee Doodle Parade

If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate the Fourth of July early, join the town of Denton for their annual Yankee Doodle Parade on June 29! Grab your favorite folding chair and watch the parade roll by the historic buildings of Denton. If you’re an over-achiever, you might be resting your legs after the traditional Liberty Run 5k. No matter what, it’s sure to be a good time for the whole family.

Independence Day Celebration Klyde Warren Park

The Klyde Warren Park fireworks display is described as legendary.

Also taking place the weekend before the Fourth of July, this Dallas activity boasts food trucks, live music, and a fireworks show to end the night! This all-day festival is free and open to the public so you can save your cash for vendors. Independence Day at Klyde Warren Park is popular, though, so be sure you do your parking research ahead of time.

Frisco Freedom Fest

Watch FC Dallas take on the Portland Timbers this 4th of July.

We dare you to say that five times fast. Frisco Freedom Fest takes place on the the 4th! So you can take part in the weekend events and still leave time for this one. The town of Frisco invites you to celebrate Independence Day with live music, kids activities, a car show, an ice cream festival(!), a professional soccer match, and of course, fireworks! We sure hope you’re making a long weekend out of your Thursday off because you’ll need the rest after this fun-filled day.

Star-Spangled Spectacular

Exciting and air-conditioned fun brought to you by the Dallas Symphony.

If you want to celebrate the Fourth of July with Dallas activities but are worried about the well-known Texas heat, look no further. The Dallas Symphony has you covered. This tribute to the home of the free is complete with hotdogs, ice cream, and indoor fireworks! Besides getting to see some amazing musicians perform, the biggest bonus is that it is air conditioned. Go back to work Friday without sunburned shoulders and a smile on your face.
