Best Thanksgiving Food (According to Roof Experts)

We know this time of year means changing temperatures and falling leaves. We know you may be looking to Roof Experts for all your gutter needs. (Check out why it’s so important to maintain them here.) Today, though, we’re going to discuss what has been on all of our minds lately… What’s the best Thanksgiving Food?

Though I, your writer, will die on the hill of Pumpkin Pie, it seems the rest of the office has other ideas in mind. So today we trade in our Roof Experts hats for our Feast Experts stretchy pants.

To be fully transparent, here were the options best thanksgiving food:

  • Turkey
  • Stuffing
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Yams/ Sweet Potatoes
  • Green Beans
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Pecan Pie
  • Pumpkin Pie

Though there were lots of options, the responses were overwhelming. All in all, we have a clear top 3 and an even clearer winner!

  1. Pumpkin Pie/ Sweet Potatoes

Each of these delicious treats took 12.5% of the vote. You can argue that both of these dishes are desserts but it’s better to tell ourselves that only one of them is. And it isn’t the one with marshmallows on top. Join me and team sweet vegetable as we graciously accept third place.

  1. Turkey

The spotlight of the meal took a backseat according to our crew. This large prepared bird requires hours of shopping and prep time. And for what? A measly second place. 25% of our Roof Experts say the best thanksgiving food is turkey. That means the remaining 50% have something different in mind! But what could beat out the bird?

And the winner is…

  1. Stuffing

That’s right. The delicious combination of base vegetables, broth, bread, and spices takes the cake. A simple dish that seems to warm hearts and bellies. What team are you on?

Next we’ll poll everyone on the best Thanksgiving food to use to patch your roof. (But really, call us for your roof repairs. Your concrete mashed potatoes won’t hold up to the rain.)
